Our story

 

Inspired by our family’s happy place, spotted-seal is a love letter to Norfolk and memory-marker of special moments by the sea. 

 

Trekking along Beeston Bump one blustery winter morning with our lovable lab Indi, inspiration struck to create spotted-seal. This enchanting enclave of England is a memory factory of family fun and good vibes where we hike, bike, swim, surf, catch some ‘claws’ and of course, visit the proud pinnipeds at Blakeney Point. 

 

Whether strolling along the shingled shores of Sheringham, creeks of Cley or Morston marshes -  our classic styles and thoughtful designs are made for everyday, off-duty wear with timeless appeal that feel as good as they look. We produce quality clothes in small batches with sustainable fabrics and ethical manufacturing at the core of our range fit for fun and perfect to explore Britain’s most celebrated coastlines and beyond, all year round.

Like you, we aim to preserve the natural beauty of the region and its natives - feathered and furred - for generations to come.
